SCRAM Programs in Specialty Courts

Veterans Treatment Courts

Veterans Treatment Courts are a new type of Court that employ the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP) Specialty Court model in order to serve U.S. Military Veterans struggling with addiction, physical and mental health challenges, homelessness, and unemployment. These courts are helping men and women in our local communities who exhibit criminal behavior driven by combat-related mental health and addiction disorders. Working in cooperation with Federal, state, and local veterans outreach programs, these unique courts are making our communities safer while restoring dignity to our Veterans on the home front.
